Because it became so easy with MailChimp to send an automated email right after a user’s click only if we added the MailChimp form in the WordPress site.

Steps to add contact form in WordPress
I have given a step-by-step guide to adding a contact form to the WordPress website with screenshots.
- Open your MailChimp account and click on create:
- Select sign up form:
- Click on form builder:
- Design your desired form:
- To generate the html code for your form, go to signup embedded forms:
- Go to your website editor and drag html component:
- Paste the copied code:
Ta-da! You are ready to collect leads from your website.
You can view your contact from the contact column in your MailChimp account.
Now, you have to set an automated email to congratulate or welcome your new subscribers.

- Click on create (pencil icon) -> email -> automate -> select your desired option (as shown below)
- Give valid name to your campaign for future reference
- Customize the email template as per your concern by clicking on edit for each section
- Browse your website and fill the form
- Now check your mail and Ta-da! you’ve got it
